Let’s Get Phygital!
While the term “phygital” is becoming more and more common in web3, Fyat Lux is the only Web3 project that has mass-produced and shipped almost 6,000 phygital products to thousands of owners across 80 countries and rolled out a global iOS and Android phygital app. That level of scale and rollout is unprecedented in Web3. No one else has come close.
We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment and we know our community is too. Ever since we shipped our first batch of phygitals in April 2022, we get daily inquiries with the same request — when will the next order window open?
Our first order window was extremely ambitious and we are proud of its scale and scope. However, the reality is that it did not go smoothly for everyone. While the vast majority of people received their cards within a few months, a small subset of people ended up receiving their cards much later than that.
This was due to a myriad of issues that most NFT projects don’t have to face, such as supply chain delays, factory shutdowns, Covid lockdowns, and international customs and regulations. Ultimately, due to the accumulation of these issues we let some people down. Some left the project out of frustration. Even if they were a small minority, we felt that too many people were left unsatisfied by their experience. Before we opened a new order window, we wanted to ensure that did not happen again.
Thankfully, over the past few months we have established and tested new workflows with our manufacturing and logistics vendors and are confident in our ability to deliver even more smoothly this time around.
Upcoming “Mini” Phygital Order Window
In a few weeks we will be implementing a “mini” phygital order window. More details will be released over the upcoming days. This will be a field test of our updated processes — a way to implement everything we’ve learned during our first window and ensure all community members who order phygitals this time around have an enjoyable and satisfying experience. Once the “mini” order window is complete and all things go well, we will set the date for a full phygital order window.
