With the launch of the Vault of the Ancients, the prologue to the Fyat Lux saga, we enabled the Fyat Lux community with agency over the narrative and universe. From July 21 to August 3, 2022, owners of Fyat Lux Dawn Collection NFTs had the opportunity to make a critical decision regarding the fate of one of the main characters in our story. This post will discuss the results and breakdown of that decision.
Before getting into details, we are excited to announce that the wallets that participated in this web3 storytelling experience will be rewarded with an exclusive Vault of the Ancients NFT airdrop in the near future! Stay tuned to the official Fyat Lux Discord and Twitter for more info.
Part 4 of Vault of the Ancients ended with Ninez injured and Null in an intense battle with the remaining Sentry of the Vault. The community was left with two options to influence the Vault of the Ancients storyline and the broader Fyat Lux universe:
- OPTION 1: Sacrifice Ninez
The Mission must succeed, even if it means sacrificing Ninez. There may never be another chance to unlock a new future for the Sparks. - OPTION 2: Fail Mission
Ninez is the closest thing Null has ever had to a family. Ninez must stay alive, even if that means the mission will fail.

Flux Power Tally ⚡
The option with the highest total Flux Power applied by the community would become the official story choice of Vault of the Ancients. In total the community applied 4,549 Flux Power, which was split almost evenly between the two choices:
The difference came down to only 27 Flux Power — but Option 2 barely scraped by as the winner! Had one or two Sparks been applied to Option 1 instead, Fyat Lux would have headed down a completely different story path! Ultimately, with Option 2 as the winner, that means…

Unique Wallet Stats ⚡
A total of 441 unique wallets participated in the community decision. While the winning option was chosen based on total Flux Power and not wallet count, we thought it would still be interesting to provide a breakdown of how each of the wallets applied their available Flux Power:
Even though Option 2 won because it had more Flux Power, Option 1 actually had 23 more unique wallets. Unfortunately, the Flux Power of those wallets was not enough to win out and set the direction of the universe.

Although the Finale of Vault of the Ancients is officially out, the first story cycle of Fyat Lux is not yet complete. For those who participated in the community decision, keep an eye out for more news on your airdrop reward! We have also begun development of Chapter 1, which will introduce the main narrative within the Ringed City.
