The world of Web3 moves so fast that oftentimes, unless a person is actively checking in on a regular basis, a projects’ accomplishments get lost in the newsfeed. It is understandable then, that many people have turned to checking a project’s floor price as the primary barometer of that project’s health.
However, as financial markets have slumped and the crypto/Web3 space has been hit with scandal after scandal, even the most popular “blue-chip” projects have taken massive hits to their floor prices. Fyat Lux is no exception. In moments like these it’s important to check beyond floor price to see who is still building and, more importantly, who is actually delivering the really hard things that develop long-lasting value and give their communities something to be proud of besides sloppy art and empty promises.
At Fyat Lux, we have been delivering on the hard things since day one. And from the beginning we have been heads down working towards our mission: to create a beloved and long-lasting story and sci-fi franchise that is native to Web3 and aligned with an engaged community of empowered fans.
We can only achieve that mission by building the hard stuff like groundbreaking technology, jaw-dropping art, and a rich, exciting story and world. There is no shortcut. Fortunately for us, building the hard stuff is in our DNA. Our dedicated and doxxed team who has worked for Google, Nintendo, Blizzard, Disney, and Vuforia, is still working furiously to deliver some of the most innovative experiences in Web3. In our first 5 months, our accomplishments speak for themselves:
• 8,080 fully-rigged 3D avatar NFT masterpieces that were delivered on day 1 and have only gained more and more AR utility over time.
• A first-of-its kind physical drop of over 5,600 groundbreaking phygital cards delivered to 78 countries across the globe.
• A Fyat Lux mobile app for iOS and Android enabling unique AR experiences.
• A dozen innovative community engagement campaigns leveraging AR.
• Amazing art from half-a-dozen world-class artists, ranging from famed concept artists like Robotpencil and Amir Zand, to industry veterans like Stephen Olds and brilliant new-comers like Danny Paik.
• A rich universe and stories that have inspired hundreds of pieces of fan-made content, including animated shorts, fan-fiction, AR experiences, and even full-length music albums.
Of course, those are all things we have already delivered. Over the past few months we have also been heads down, busy building what lies ahead. And as we finalize the deliveries of our last batches of phygital cards, we are getting closer to unveiling what we have been creating.
So what lies next? We don’t want to spoil the details quite yet, but we can tell you that the answer is only a few weeks away. We have always said that the world of Fyat Lux is based on a universe that we have been developing for a while. We have also always said that Fyat Lux is a storytelling project with an epic sci-fi saga at its core. What comes next is our vision of what a storytelling project and a universe native to Web3 should be. Expect a weeks-long experience converging storytelling and community participation, delivered through high-quality visual, textual, and audio content. Expect to enter deeper into the universe of Fyat Lux. Owning a Spark NFT will give you certain benefits — but even without a Spark you can still have fun.
