Details and stats about the Vault of the Ancients Community Decision Airdrop and our new Fyat Lux World smart contract & collection.
Fyat Lux is an epic sci-fi saga native to web3 and the metaverse - a showcase for the future of entertainment and storytelling. Our first step in that journey was to launch the Dawn collection of 8,080 metaverse-ready 3D avatars of Sparks, a class of people in the Fyat Lux universe. These avatars allow owners to take the world of Fyat Lux across 2D and 3D social platforms and also provide physical and digital (“phygital”) engagement opportunities and benefits within the Fyat Lux ecosystem. The Dawn collection is an integral part of the Fyat Lux experience, but our journey to be a metaverse-native storytelling project was never meant to stop just there.
Today, we are excited to announce Fyat Lux World - a new collection of metaverse-ready collectible editions of the most memorable characters, locations, accessories, and lore from the expanding universe of Fyat Lux!
The first release of the World collection took place earlier this week as an airdrop reward for Dawn collection owners who participated in the community decision for Vault of the Ancients — the prologue of the Fyat Lux saga.
Vault of the Ancients 3D Collectibles
The Vault of the Ancients airdrop consists of four fully-rigged and metaverse-ready 3D digital collectibles (tokenized as ERC-1155 NFTs) of the main characters of Vault of the Ancients: the lovable synth Ninez, the heroic Null, and the menacing duo of sentries dubbed “Tweedle-Dee” and “Tweedle-Dum.”
These 3D characters represent hundreds of hours of design and craftsmanship by incredibly talented artists including Danny Paik and Robotpencil. Each of these 3D characters was meticulously modeled, fully rigged, and optimally textured to allow owners to utilize across the metaverse. They can be viewed in our custom 3D viewer on OpenSea and in the “My Collection” page on fyatlux.com, and owners have access to the 3D files to use for creating content, narratives and art. We are incredibly proud of these characters and can’t wait to see them hanging around in the metaverse!
Below we will discuss details on the rarity of these collectibles and on how the airdrop was distributed.
Prologue Airdrop Stats
As we had announced through Twitter, Instagram, Discord, and our email newsletter throughout the release of Vault of the Ancients, owners who participated in the community decision would be rewarded. While the details of the reward were not revealed, our intention was to ensure that our most loyal and active fans felt appreciated for their engagement.
In total there were 441 unique wallets that participated in Community Decision (you can read all the specific stats and recap here). Participating wallets were airdropped one of the four NFTs based on the Flux Power ⚡ that the wallet exercised during the Community Decision (see below).
Vault of the Ancients Airdrop Edition Sizes
The four airdropped characters have the following edition sizes and rarity:
- Ninez (Token 1): 41 Editions
- Null (Token 2): 106 Editions
- Tweedle-Dum (Token 3): 186 Editions
- Tweedle-Dee (Token 4): 186 Editions
Out of the 517 total NFTs, 30 were reserved for the team and 46 are being held in the Fyat Lux community wallet for future giveaways and community activations.
Flux Power ⚡ Rewards
The rarity of the character airdropped to a wallet depended on the Flux Power ⚡ deployed by that wallet. As explained in detail before the community decision, a wallet’s total Flux Power ⚡ depended on the number of Spark NFTs it held and the rarity of those NFTs. The more Sparks a wallet held and the rarer they were, the higher that wallet’s Flux Power ⚡.
The final ranges used to distribute the 4 characters were:
- Ninez— 30+ Flux Power⚡
- Null — 7 to 29 Flux Power⚡
- Tweedle-Dee — 1 to 6 Flux Power⚡
- Tweedle-Dum — 1 to 6 Flux Power⚡
Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum were distributed evenly between wallets that had 1 to 6 Flux Power.
