Set thousands of years after an event called “the Flux” stopped all technology from working, rare people called Sparks are born with the ability to turn on ancient technology from humanity’s golden age. On one side are the Fyat, a powerful religion whose Spark enforcers restrict the use of ancient technology. On the other side are the Lux, a small group of Sparks who seek to unlock the secrets held by that same technology. Humanity’s future hangs in the balance.
The world of Fyat Lux can be experienced in two formats — the main story (told through “chapters,” i.e., seasons, spanning 3–4 months) — or through short stories or “Glimpses.” Each chapter of Fyat Lux is designed as a holistic experience that encompasses not just the story release, but exciting Web3 mechanics and digital and phygital engagements. This first-of-its kind format of storytelling is the heart of the Fyat Lux experience.
Vault of the Ancients

Immerse yourself in beautiful animations, illustrations, and a high-production audio drama all synced through our story viewer, as you experience the riveting adventure of the legendary relic hunter Null and his chatty synth companion Ninez as they venture deep into the mysterious Vault of the Ancients on a mission that will change the world forever.
The original chapter experience for Vault of the Ancients took place between June 2022-October 2022. It kicked off with a phygital community challenge in NYC’s Times Square, a weekly episode drop, a community decision on the main character’s fate, an airdrop reward, the release of a chapter-themed minigame, a metaverse wrap party, a metaverse funeral for a main character, and a limited-edition phygital sale.
